Model No:CEI-GEM-SH58
The giant ear model serves as a powerful educational tool, offering a hands-on approach to understanding the auditory system. It aids in explaining how various structures collaborate seamlessly to enable our sense of hearing. Medical professionals, educators, and students alike benefit from its visual representation, allowing for a deeper grasp of auditory anatomy and the processes behind hearing.
This model shows three main structural parts of the hearing organ (external ear, middle ear, internal ear) and the position of the equilibrium organ of human body. Dissectible into 4 parts, 5 times enlarged. The giant ear model is a meticulously crafted replica of the human ear, magnified to showcase its intricate structures. It typically comprises three main sections: the outer ear, middle ear, and inner ear. The outer ear consists of the pinna and ear canal, which funnel sound waves toward the eardrum. The middle ear houses the ossicles—tiny bones named the malleus, incus, and stapes—that transmit sound vibrations to the fluid-filled inner ear. The inner ear holds the cochlea, a spiral-shaped organ responsible for converting sound vibrations into electrical signals that the brain interprets as sound.
